Cath Kidston

I've been busy the last month working for Sweet F.A. I felt like I was back in childhood Nursery again when I was asked to make a fuzzyfelt Back drop for the window display at Cath Kidston shop in Kingston, England. I enjoyed cutting out clouds and seagulls and sunshine beams out of bright colored felt. I stuck large and small fuzzy felt flowers down which came in different colored petals and leaves ect. You remember playing with the fuzzy felt? it kept me busy all day! Oh what fun I have when I'm not making Kitsch cushions.

THE LATEST CUSHION CRAZE!

COWBOY CUSHIONS...Plus many more!

These are New cushions that are becoming the Latest Trend.

Hi There,
These lovely New Cushions are made from a variety of Themed fabric which expresses one's character and personality. The fabric is found in different parts of the world but mainly the U.S.A.

These are cushions that sit on your sofa or bed or anywhere else for that matter and make a bold statement of one's interests in life as well as blending in with the color of surroundings.

No longer do cushions have to be boring with flowers and plain colored shapes.

These fabrics display so much character. People can now find cushions with Dice, cars, animals, birds, fish, planes, comics, vintage pinups, classic movie stars, Betty Boop, Palm Trees, desert settings, Hot Rods, the list goes on....

What ever the interest and passion in life these New fashionable cushions express it.

The best place to find and buy them from would be at www.kitsch-kushions.com . Few other small company's are starting to sell them. Cath Kidson has made some cool cushions in the past, I liked the cowboy printed fabric she used for the cushion and a couple of her other themed fabric.

These Cushions are Top Quality,

People tend to buy them for gifts/birthday/Xmas presents as well as for they're own home.

Any cushion that has personality will be found here...new cushions will be added weekly, so if you don't find what your looking for today, there's always tomorrow!

''AMAZON'' CUSHIONS

Over the past week I've found some great Cushions from Amazon that I've added to my page on the right.

I've found a couple of Betty Boop which will suit the Betty Boop lovers of this world.

I've also added cushions for the children, Hello Kitty, Tinkerbell, Dora, The Simpsons and more.... plus for Adults only, a couple of Saucy Playboy cushions. I came across a nice soft squeezy Union Jack cushion maybe for the Tourist or someone who's proud to be British. A cushion for the Arsenal football fans!

I've really enjoyed adding these cushions to my favourites. They all express character and personality in my eyes. This is what its all about. Lovely bright fun cushions with lots of Character.

All these cushions I find on Amazon are Amazing prices. Anything from four to thirty pounds and they are all top quality, I take my hat off to those who have made them!

CUSHIONS IN NOTTINGHILL GATE SHOP

Today I managed to deliver a variety of Cushions to a quaint little shop in the heart of Nottinghill Gate. J.W. BEETON 48-50 Ledbury Rd. London W.11.

The owner of the shop Debbie hand picked some of the best kitsch kushions. She chose two very glamorous Marilyn Monroe cushions to display in the shop window, a cute vintage cowboy kids cushion backed in blue denim, two other cute cowboy cushions, a cushion made from original vintage Tom & Jerry fabric. Also she chose Drama Queen, the Dysfunctional family and a Betty Boop in Las Vegas and last but not least the Route 66 cushion.

Here are a some photo's of a few of them above. They should sell well in her shop over the Christmas season as they make wonderful gifts!

You can also find some of these Cushions on my Website www.kitsch-kushions.co.uk

ACE CAFE CUSHIONS

The Ace Cafe London, which is a nostalgic bikers cafe phoned me this week wanting more Ace Cafe cushions to sell in they're shop. They seem to sell like hot cakes! I was well pleased, as I love to "be a part of it!" as the owner Mark Wilsmore would say. Its a really cool Cafe. If anyone loves bikes and hasen't heard of this place yet they should definately check it out and pop in for a cup of tea. Well worth the visit!
